What is the purpose of the Angel Fund?
Your generosity directly supports the Angel Fund at Mukwonago Area School District, helping families pay down student meal debt and ensuring every child has access to nourishing school lunches with dignity and care. The Mukwonago Area School District food service department has set up an “Angel Fund” to help families in need whose children have negative lunch account balances they are unable to pay. This has been a tough year for some of our MASD families and we have more negative lunch accounts than usual.
Families are placed on the Angel Fund list based upon recommendation from our school social workers, counselors, nurses, administrators and/or faculty. Families are first processed to see if they qualify for the free or reduced-price lunch program. In some cases, the income level is just above the limit and the family is unable to obtain financial assistance from government sources. The Angel Fund is used to pay negative lunch account balances accrued by these families. Any remaining funds are used to offer future meals to their children.
Donations are tax deductible.
Who can donate cookies?
Anyone with a passion for baking, and a desire to support the Mukwonago Area School District Angel Fund, can donate cookies! We welcome contributions from individuals, families, and local businesses. All cookies should be prepared with care.
What if i can't deliver my donated cookies on the event day?
If you are unable to deliver your donated cookies on the event day, please contact us in advance at BBVLOneCookieAtATime@gmail.com or call Kim at 925.518.4744 to make alternative arrangements. We appreciate your generosity and will do our best to accommodate your donation.
